Step 1 · Get your code

Start with the script for your assistant.

Use the personalized code from your dashboard for installation. The example below shows its structure.

Replace YOUR_BOT_ID with your assistant’s ID. Your dashboard provides the complete script for your assistant.

Find the right place to paste your code.

Search your website builder to see its installation steps. Your selection has its own link, so you can return to it later.

Install dhroopAI on a custom website, static site, or any page where you can edit HTML.

Paste the script before the closing body tag.

  1. Open your dhroopAI dashboard and copy the embed code from Install Code.

  2. Open the HTML file or template that renders every page.

  3. Paste the script before the closing body tag.

  4. Publish the site and open a live page to confirm the widget appears.

Step 3 · Publish and test

Check the experience your visitors will see.

Test on your published website, using the domain approved in your widget settings.

  1. Look for the chat launcher

    Open the live page and check the widget appears in your chosen corner.

  2. Ask a familiar question

    Try a question your website, document, or FAQ content can answer.

  3. Check another screen size

    Open the chat on mobile and desktop. Make sure it is easy to reach and close.

Something not working?

Start with the issue that matches what you see.

The widget is not showing

Confirm the widget is enabled in your dashboard and that your live website domain is approved. Check that the installed code contains your real bot ID, then republish your site and refresh the live page.

My builder removes the script

Your plan, editor, or page block may restrict JavaScript. Use the platform’s custom-code or footer-injection method when available. If only an embedded frame is available, check compatibility with support.

It works in preview but not on the live site

Check your published domain in the widget’s allowed domains, including whether you use www. Confirm you published the latest code and check any site cache. Preview and live pages can use different domains.

The widget appears twice

Check whether the embed was added in more than one place, such as both a theme footer and a custom-code plugin. Keep one installation for the selected assistant on each page.

The chat opens but answers are not useful

Check that the selected assistant has finished training and includes the pages, documents, or FAQs needed to answer your test question. Review your sources and test again.

I cannot find my website platform

Look for a setting that allows JavaScript before the closing body tag or in a site-wide footer. If you only have an HTML embed block, ask support to help check compatibility. Include your platform name and published website URL.
